Harvest and bring in your own materials, add up-cycled and vintage remnants for colour and texture. Learn the difference between cordage, coiling, twining, random weave and looping. Choose a couple of these techniques to explore in more depth and work on several different pieces over the duration of the course. The emphasis will be on creativity and how the natural plant fibres around us can be used for basketry and fibre art. Focus on techniques and make small samples or spend a month making a hug
